Starting from Piazza Castello we will see the majestic façade of Palazzo Madama and of the Royal Palace, an harmonical all-in-one with Chiablese Gallery and the Library’s Wing (that jealously hosts Leonardo da Vinci’s self-portrait).
Than we will enter the church of San Lorenzo, the royal chapel of the Savoy family, considered one of the most beautiful churches in the world…and at Duomo of San Giovanni we will see where is preserved the most important and discussed relic of the world, the Holy Shroud.
We will continue our walk to Piazza Carignano. There we will see its homonym Palace that leads one of the most elegant corner of the city with its wavy façade, where the count of Cavour, one of the “father” of Italy, getting out everyday of the Parliament went for lunch to the well-known Ristorante del Cambio.
Following we will admire the Galleria Subalpina, a peculiar Italian Art Nouveau style gallery, to tell the story of Bicerin, the famous hot drink with cream, coffee and Piedmont’s chestnuts chocolate...yum!!!
