After an historical introduction of the Castle of Castellamonte and its gardens, visitors will be welcomed in the Dining Room where on the large table will be placed in a studied succession the tablecloth of Flanders, the centerpiece, the candlesticks, silver cutlery, dishes of fine porcelain, crystal glasses ... and finally menus.
There will be illustrated the function of every single object, its origin, history and related anecdotes. The tradition of the "Bella Tavola"/ beautiful table, so much in vogue for Piedmontese nobles, follows the dictates of French fashion following the line of splendor of the Savoy court, especially between the 19th and 20th centuries.
