When one thinks of Byzantium, the colour of Gold comes to mind. The Gold of mosaics, of jewellery, of coins. Wealth and opulence of a civilisation deeply rooted in the Roman Empire, but with great and radical affinities with the East.

Thanks to this exhibition, already on display at the MANN in Naples, we will admire 350 works - sculptures, mosaics, frescoes, vases, seals and coins, ceramic artefacts, enamels, silver objects, precious gems and gold jewellery.
